Rung prior to and for Evening Prayer, and as a 65th birthday compliment to the mother of the Conductor, (who lived in Bethnal Green in the 1960's) the method being well suited.
This method was first rung here on the old Lester & Pack 8 in 1850 (which bells were consumed by a fire in the steeple in 1859) and was the first peal of Superlative in the Metropolis, and the fourth peal ever rung in the method.
