Rung half-muffled in memory of Private Albert Folkard, 2nd Battalion Welsh Regiment, on the centenary of his death. Killed in action on 12 September 1914 aged 38 near Vendresse, France. Private Folkard was the first soldier from Buxhall to be killed in the First World War. First blows in Buxton B: 2, 4 and 5. First in St Clement's B: 2.
