First quarter peal in the method which was named and rung to a 720 in a quarter peal in April 2005. First blows in the method for all the band except the conductor.
Rung to mark the 80th anniversary of Ron Applewhite learning to ring. Ron started to learn to ring in October 1932 at the age of 12 at St John’s Washingborough. He is a loyal and long standing member of the local band here at Potterhanworth and is the oldest ringing member of the Lincoln Diocesan Guild at the age of 92 years & 8 months.
