Rung on the 100th anniversary of the birth of A Patrick Cannon. George Thoday rang 117 peals with him including ringing in his 1000th peal and he rang in George's 1000th peal. This composition by Pat was first rung in 1937.
George & Colin Salter are now the fifth consecutive generation of the family to have rung a peal on Ardleigh bells.
The conductor has now called peals from 1000 different bells.
