On the centenary of the birth of Violet Ruth Barber (nee Neale), the conductor's mother, who was born in Newmarket on 14 February 1915 and was baptised in this Church. Also a 78th birthday compliment this day to Roger J Palmer who taught the ringers of 3 and 6 to ring.
