The Annual Lincolnshire Day Quarter at Bardney.
Rung on Lincolnshire Day which marks the anniversary of the Lincolnshire Rising of 1536.
Six monks from Bardney Abbey took part in the Lincolnshire rising of 1536 and were executed in 1537 for their roles in the rising.
Rung also to celebrate the installation of the “Abbey Stones” (decorated, carved, architectural stones excavated and recovered from the ruined Bardney Abbey) which have now been put on display in Bardney Church.
