Especially arranged and rung immediately prior to the village Street Party held in and around the Church Room. The idea was the conception of the Conductor and arranged by the ringers, and approximately 50 villagers attended. Before the National Anthem (all 3 verses including the "politics" and "knavish tricks") was sung a large contingent of children and their parents watched the full footage of the 1953 Coronation Service, and after the proceedings had been brought to a close, several of the Company retired to the nearby "Shepherd & Crook" Inn until a late hour for further rest & refreshment.
