To congratulate the conductor on his splendid achievement of 50 successful quarter peals this year, which was attained here at his home tower on Christmas Eve. Most of these attempts were rung with the Guild, and within its operational area. Following this quarter peal, he was entertained to a Steak supper by the Guild Secretary, at 'The Shepherd & Crook Inn', in recognition of this fine achievement.
