Rung for the bi-centenary of the opening of Sydney Hospital, New South Wales, Australia. Sydney Hospital is Australia’s first hospital, and has been on its present site in Macquarie Street since October 1811. The 30th October 2011 became known as the Sydney Hospital Foundation Day; celebrating when Governor Lachlan Macquarie laid the foundation stone for Sydney Hospital, known then as the Rum Hospital, in Macquarie Street in the City. Also a 40th birthday compliment to Langtoft bellringer, Stewart Mason.
