Especially arranged and rung immediately following the wedding of Vicky Codlin to Jonathan Reene (a work colleague of the Conductor) at this Church at which the Officiant was Rev. J. Cowling (President of the Guild) The service followed the order of 1662 BCP using the provisions permitted in the Deposited Book "As Proposed" 1928 which failed to gain assent in the House of Commons that year. The band were kindly invited to the Reception which followed in the Village Hall.
Also to welcome Rev. A Windross (M.A. Cantab) who was instituted as Vicar of the neighbouring Parish of St Leonard, Hythe upon Tuesday last.
