Rung half muffled in memory of, and on the centenary of the death of Michael Randolph Fowle near Ypres. Michael's grandfather Thomas Everett Fowle, was the benefactor for St Mary's in Chute Forest, and this ring of six bells, the third of which is dedicated to William Hugh, Michael's father. The bells were relocated to St Nicolas in nearby Upper Chute in 1975
