Rung with the bells half muffled by the local band immediately prior to the Royal British Legion Remembrance Sunday Service in memory of all those who have lost their lives fighting for our Country in conflicts past and present, especially during the two World Wars. We will remember them.
Rung remembering the 38 men of this parish who lost their lives in the Great War, especially:
ARTHUR HENRY HUMBERSTONE (1st Jul, aged 26)
H G DOWMAN (16th Oct, aged 30)
SAMUEL ALLEN (22nd Oct)
FRED CHILTON (10th Dec, aged 20)
all of whom were killed during 1916 in the Great War.
