Rung half muffled for the service commemorating the end of the Battle of the Somme and also to remember Private David Evan Owens, a ringer at this Church, who died aged 35 on the 18th of November 1916 commemorated at Ten Tree Alley Cemetery, Puisieux, France and Private Frank G Tarbath who died aged 21 on the same day commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial in France.

The bellringer shown standing third from the right on this photograph is Private David Evan Owens. The picture is a record of a peal rung at St Michael and All Angels, Ledbury in 1911. Private Owens died aged 35 on the 18th of November 1916. He is commemorated at Ten Tree Alley Cemetery, Puisieux, France.
