Rung in remembrance of all those who gave their lives in the First Great War and in particular Arthur Robert Henry Joyner who gave his life on the 4th December 1916, aged 22 he was member of the AIF Engineers, 4th Division Signal Company, and died near the Montauban area at Pommier Redoubt. He is buried in the Commonwealth War Graves at Caterpillar Valley Cemetery, Longueval.
Arthur Joyner was a ringer at at St Mark's Church Darling Point, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia and came from several generations of ringers. The ringer of the second learnt to ring at Darling Point in 1965; and was Ringing Master from 2004 to 2011.
