Specially arranged and rung in memory of Rosemary June Harvey, mother of Robert Harvey, marking the 20th anniversary today of her passing, and also to celebrate the 10th anniversary this week of Robert’s first quarter peal (27th Oct 2006) drumming the tenor behind to Grandsire Triples at Chalfont St Giles, the tower where he learnt to ring. (Robert’s 402nd quarter peal).
Also marking the 227th anniversary of the bells being cast by Thomas Osborn of Downham Market and officially opened and rung for the first time on 23rd October 1789.
