Remembering:

Private Anthony Scriven and Private Thomas Winter; both of Huish Episcopi and in 7th Battalion Prince Albert's Somerset Light Infantry. Both killed in action on the Somme on 16 September 1916.

Private Orlando Banyard, 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers and Private Heber Loveridge, 2nd Battalion Devonshire Regiment. Both of Langport and both killed in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme on 1 July 1916.

All four men are commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, Authuille, France.
