Rung in memoriam Private 201398 William Ainger Howman of this parish, 1/4th Suffolk Regiment, Aug 1885-July 20, 1916, killed in action on the Somme 100 years ago today. The peal was rung on a set of handbells made pre-WW1 and previously owned by Alfred Grimes, one of the leading ringers of his day.
