Last peal on the bells which are due to be removed shortly. The church is closed and the building is being sold for residential conversion.

Rung to commemorate the nine men from Gravenhurst who lost their lives in the Great War - 2Lt Evelyn Collisson, Pte Wilfred Fisher, Gunner William Jordan, Pte Lionel Miller, Cpl Charles Redman, L/Cpl Stephen Redman, Pte Walter Redman, Pte George Smith and F.W. Turner.

Of these, three died in Northern France as a result of action before or after the battle of the Somme (1 July - 18 November 1916) - Evelyn Collisson (d. 23/2/1916), Charles Redman (d. 5/12/1916) and Stephen Redman (d.8/2/1917).
