Composed by Robert Weatherby Snr
1 Pete Corlis
2 Margaret Weatherby
3 Robert Weatherby Snr (C)
4 Jonathan Laurence
Believed principle rung for the first time: Brown Cow Collision Singles 3.1.123.1.123.1
Rung following suggestion from our fellow Northern Towers Branch colleagues at St John's Cathedral, Brisbane about doing a "cow singles". This followed ringers 2 and 3, who on their way home after bellringing practice on 21st December (2016) were involved in a collision with an errant cow that had escaped from a paddock. The cow did not survive, the car became a write-off but fortunately physical injuries to ringers were not serious. Some divine help must have intervened. Ringer 2 now feels that the cow can rest in peace.

1260 Morning Fog Singles
Composed by Robert Weatherby Snr
1 Pete Corlis
2 Margaret Weatherby
3 Robert Weatherby Snr (C)
4 Geoff Cawley
Believed method rung for the first time: Morning Fog Singles 1.3.1.1.3.1.1.3.1.3.1.123.1.3.3.1.3.123
Method named for Lismore's frequent morning fogs during winter which delay Rex flights out of Lismore Airport. The airport's new runway lights should help this winter to decrease flight delays.
Ringer 2 felt it appropriate that her glasses fogged up during the QP due to high humidity in 35 degree C late afternoon summer heat.
Thank you to Sam Austen for his weather and nautical related methods beginning with Shipping Forecast.

375th peal: 2.
First peal in the method (previously rung to a quarter peal).
Rung in celebration of the life of Joy Burrows (nee Whitehead), who died last year; a committed Sunday service ringer at this church and excellent striker. Also for Joe Reeves, whose drive and commitment caused this tower to be built and the bells installed.
The band would like to associate the peal with Joy’s sister Mavis in Portsmouth and Joy’s friend Debbie Hay, who was unable to stand in the peal.

Rung for Palm Sunday and to support the recovery of Lismore after the devastating floods of late last week and weekend. No services were possible last Sunday as St Andrew's although not flood damaged was isolated by floodwaters. The clean-up in Lismore will be long and expensive with many thousands of tonnes of destroyed belongings, goods and other materials to be removed and mud cleaned up.
We give thanks to all the emergency services, SES, rescue, police, rural fire services, Lismore City Council workers from the Mayor and General Manager down and to all who have helped during the emergency itself and the ongoing recovery and we pray for healing for those whose lives have been devastated.

Ringing began 15 minutes prior to the March leaving the Brown's Creek carpark opposite the tower and then as the March proceeded to the city War Memorial.
At the end of the 38th extent and the beginning of the 39th extent, a Royal Australian Air Force F/A-18 Hornet jet flew over the tower at 200ft altitude. The sound of the bells could not be heard as this occurred.
"They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them."
