Canon Osborne was ordained in St Andrew's and was curate from 1971-1972. He then served in a number of parishes in the Northern Rivers until 1998 and was Bishop's Chaplain from 1978-2002.

Maria (Obadiah's daughter and his first Australian born child), born on 30th Dec.,1792 and baptised at St Philips [at the first St Philip's Church on Bell Row, Sydney Town] on 19th January 1793, whom became Charles' wife.].
