A peal attempt arranged on the Centenary of the first peal rung for the Swansea and Brecon Guild. Unfortunately the peal had to be curtailed in the 41st extent due to a member of the band being unable to continue. The rest of the band rallied round and administered cake, water and hugs. The band then repaired to the vestry for tea and biscuits. The remaining 180 changes of Grandsire were rung as a service touch making 5040 changes in total. (RW article to follow)
