First Lincolnshire: 3. These two peals and a handbell peal were rung for the life of Thomas T "Tim" Yeomans, a most valued and respected member of the Llandaff & Monmouth Association. We will all have our own personal memories of Tim and we are grateful to Neville James for writing such a comprehensive obituary. Tim as a personal friend and I will always appreciate the considerable advice and assistance which he freely imparted. My memories are too considerable to record in a short footnote, but I would also associate these peals with Julian Stimpson who tragically died in a driving accident in the early 80s at Cosmeston Lakes. Julian was one of Tim's finest pupils and I know they shared a good friendship. Julian still holds the record for being the youngest person to ring St John's tenor to a peal, a credit to Tim's tuition. We say goodbye to Tim with fond memories as a dedicated individual whose enthusiasm was a credit to him and the Association he served. May he rest in peace M A G Williams.
