The ringers of 4th, 6th and 7th were elected members of the Guild before commencing the peal. Rung in honour of Empire Day. The Vicar ascended the tower after the peal, and congratulated the band upon the striking, and the ringers take this opportunity of thanking him for the use of the bells, and also for entertaining them after the peal.
