St Gildas, a 5th century British monk, is the patron saint of Welsh historians and bell founders. In memory of Anne Monie, ringer at Whitchurch, who died this week.

Brian has served the Shropshire Association for 40 years and was recently made an Honorary Life Member. He is (was) the organiser of our regular Friday evening QP band. He will be missed as a friend and a ringer, but we now look forward to visiting him in his new home and ringing with him on Usk bells.
