First as conductor, and circled the tower: 6. For the Service of Holy Communion. First peal on the bells since rehanging. The bells were rehung under the leadership of John C. Slater after Whitechapel had completed the fittings and tuning in 1978. The ringers of 2 and 6 gave freely of their time together with many parishioners, as did Jim Wheeler and many Worcestershire ringers. A great effort with a fine result.
