First peal of Minor by all except the conductor.

First peal in the method on the bells and by all except the conduc­tor. First in the method ever rung in the diocese of St David’s, and believed to be the second yet rung in South Wales.

First peal in the method - 1.

Rung as a birthday compliment to H. Taylor, the ringers wishing him many happy returns.

First peal of Triples - 1, 6, 8. These bells have just been put in thorough going order by Messrs. Greenleaf and Tristram, of Hereford. After the peal the ringers and others of the local band were entertained to supper at The Three Cocks hotel by Captain Glen Kidston, of Gwernyfed Park

Rung with the bells half muffled to the memory of the late Mrs Pateshall, of Allensmore Court, during the time whilst her remains were conveyed from this parish to Llanfihangel, Brecknockshire.

All the above are members of the Brecknock Territorial Army. This is the first Territorial peal ever rang. It is also worthy of note that the battalion was the first to get up to strength.
