First peal in Wales with all the ringers being the same surname. After the peal the ringers were entertained to tea by the Rector and Mrs Davies.

First peal in the method by all the band, and on the bells. It is believed to be the first peal of Bob Doubles rung in Wales, and first in the method by the above Guild. Rung in honour of the marriage of Miss Addie Lewis, of Talgarth, to Captain Reginald Bruce.
