Messrs. Tallis, Fussell, Bratton, and Gittens belong to Welshpool; Warren and Overton to Bridgnorth; Wright and Barron to Whitchurch. This was especially arranged with the consent of the vicar, the Rev. G. Davis, as a memorial peal for the late Earl Powis, who was one of the earliest Life Members of the Guild, and whose remains were interred in the chancel of the above church on Friday last. First peal by the treble and tenor m en ; and the first rang in the county.

This peal was arranged as a farewell to W. H. Fussell, as instructor to the Guild, and is the first on the bells, which have recently been rehung by Messrs. Taylor and Co., in an excellent manner. The time was carefully taken by Mr. Edmund Jones, of Ludlow, and the band were kindly received at the tower by the churchwardens. Messrs. Hall and Overton hail from Bridgnorth; Wright from Whitchurch ; Holding from Crewe; and Jones, Barnes, and Bratton, from Welshpool. Mr. R . Holding was made a lifemember of the Guild before starting for the peal.
