Son of William Shipp Smith and Ellen Smith of 123 Russell Road, Wimbledon. He worked as a Warehouse Assistant before enlisting. Born: Wimbledon. Enlisted: Wimbledon. Resided (1911 Census): 123 Russell Road, Wimbledon. BD.

In memory of Private Arthur Ernest Plowman, 13th Battallion, Royal Fusilliers who was killed in France on 29th April 1917, at the age of 19. Arthur, (more usually known as "Ernest"), was a ringer at Beddington. He rang the tenor to one quarter peal of Grandsire Triples at Beddington on Easter Sunday 1916, and was described as "one of Beddington's promising youngsters". He is remembered at the Arras Memorial, bay 3.

90th Birthday Compliments to Violet Nightingale who was a ringer at St John's Caterham

In celebration of the installation of a sound enhancement system, with a legacy left by Peter Finch a Nutfield ringer, who in later life understood the isolation a reduction or loss of a sence can bring.

Rung immediately following her final Eucharist as a farewell compliment to the Team Rector, The Rev. Canon Ailsa Newby, leaving Putney to take up the appointment of Canon Pastor at Ripon Cathedral. Ailsa heard the ringing as she said some of her "goodbyes" in and around the church and thanked members of the band afterwards.

Commemorated at Orival Wood Cemetery, Flesquieres, France, Grave I A 6. Born 08/01/1892 and baptised 04/02/1892. One of four children; all surviving at the 1911 census. Son of Arthur Morris and Caroline Jane Morris of 14 Wargrave Terrace, Lansdell Road, Mitcham, Surrey. He worked as a general labourer at a market garden before enlisting. He rang his first peal, Stedman Triples, at Mitcham on 23/07/1910. Born: Leytonstone. Enlisted: Leeds. Resided: Mitcham, Surrey
