A visit was made to inspect the three bells in the tower, which are still not currently suitable for full circle ringing.
Without moving the bells, we carefully chimed them manually by striking the clappers against the bell, allowing their sound to be heard for the first time in many years.
This marks an important step in a possible restoration project of the bells and the revival of their voice in the village. Although much work is to be needed!
