Born 31.03.2016 with extensive, congenital, digestive tract disorder. Despite long stays in hospital and undergoing 3 multi organ transplants, Elena appeared to be just like any other ordinary happy girl. After her 3rd operation in August she succumbed to a viral infection which she was unable to overcome and died on the 30.12.2019. Her life has been documented by her mum Mel in a blog, Elena’s Story, to raise awareness of the importance of blood donations and family discussions about organ donation. First quarter for 1. Gladys was 99 Years old and had been a member of Gedling Church Choir for many Years. The 'Nine Taylors' is an old, traditional method of communication. In the case of Gladys, it was rung 3x2, to indicate a Lady of the Parish. Then rung 99 times, her age and then a further 3x2.
