Specially arranged on the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Harry Whittle (who learnt at Stanford and to date has rung and conducted the most peals on the bells) to remember the early band who learnt following the restoration of the bells in 1893 and augmentation from 6 to 8 in 1897 and rang virtually all the first 68 peals on the bells (1896-1932), this being the 95th on the bells. Rung by a largely local band with Mr Lees hailing from Thrumpton and Mr Hayward from Clifton, Nottingham.
