Rung in grateful memory of Rifleman Harry Weal, Great Great Uncle of the tenor ringer, who volunteered in September 1914 and was drafted to France in May 1915. He fought at Ypres, Festubert, Loos, Albert, Vermelles, Ploegsteert Wood, Vimy Ridge, the Somme, Arras, Bullecourt, Messines, Lens and Cambrai. He was wounded twice, taken prisoner in March 1918 and demobilised in March 1919.
