This was the 100th peal on the bells, rung on the 100th anniversary of the first peal of Minor on the bells (one previous on the five) following their rehanging and augmentation by Alfred Bowell of Ipswich, and using the same methods.
All of the band learnt to ring at Elstow.
The band would like to associate the peal with Miriam Clark (Tower Captain). Also fondly remembering Rev. Peter Hartley (former Vicar), Stanley Marriott (former Churchwarden), and Bob Huckle (former Tower Captain).
