(Bell News 1st October 1910, Page 413: Note to Peal - The Peal at Bedford - This peal was rung with the bells half-muffled. as a tribute of respect to the memory of the late Thomas Bull Esq. JP. The late gentleman was for thirty-eight years churchwarden, and was prime mover in making the peal of ten, giving one bell himself. He was one of the founders of the Bedfordshire Association, and held the office of Treasurer until some four years ago.)
