A 10,097 was started for, but one of the band becoming ill, the conductor brought the bells round after nearly four hours of grand striking.)

At the conclusion of the peal, the bells were fired sixty times, the number of years Her Majesty the Queen has reigned. This is the conductor's 133rd peal and 100th peal as conductor. This peal contains the sixth its extent wrong in the tittums, and the inverted hand-stroke home position, and is now rung for the first time.)

This peal was arranged for Mr T Foote, of Little Staughton, Beds., a late member of the St.Paul's Company, Bedford. At the conclusion of the peal the ringers were entertained to tea by the vicar of the parish, the Rev. Benjamin Trapp.
