Helston Flora Day is an ancient vibrant spring Festival held annually on May 8th in Cornwall. It celebrates the end of winter & the arrival of summer. The town is duly decorated with greenery & there are traditional " Furry Dances" through streets & houses to drive out darkness. The town & community unite. The Bellringers at St Michael's Church ring at the commencement of the celebrations & at the conclusion later in the day. this performance was at the commencement of the day rang at 6.30am.

Helston Flora Day is an ancient annual celebration festival held on 8th May. It celebrates the end of winter & the arrival of renewed life. The festival signifies vitality, fertility & community featured in various dances in the town throughout the day. The bellringers at St Michael's Church ring the bells each Flora Day at 6.30am & again 6.30pm in celebration of the town's big day. This performance is the conclusion of the day following the evening dance.

Rounds rang on 6 bells at the commencement of the St Mawgan in Meneage Feast Week 2026.

36 rounds rang by ringer 1 who is 90 years young.

Rounds then mixed Call Changes returning to Rounds again. This ring was in celebration of the commencement of the St Mawgan in Meneage Feast Week. It was also the 1st Sunday Service Holy Communion service ring for the newly formed St Mawgan in Meneage Church Bellringing Team, following formation on 9 October,2025 & every other Thursday practice ringing thereon.

The ringers are a community team from various towers on the Lizard peninsula.

Rang to celebrate the life of Phillip Booker, past ringer at St Michael's Church, who recently passed. 96 call changes rang, one change for each year of life, to celebrate the longevity of Phil's commitment to the St Michael's Church & bellringing.

Phil was 96 years old when he passed. He had been a Churchwarden, sidesman, member of PCC & a committed bellringer over many years. Ringers 4 & 6 are son's of Phil ( & Betty, mother who was also a bellringer). 96 changes composed & conducted by ringer 8 who is aged aged 13 & requested to do this.
