By members of the local band on their dinner/AGM weekend. This is the original St Columb 500, composed by the late Alan Rodliffe in 2000 and recently rediscovered in one of his ringing books.

Rung open in affectionate memory of Andrew Lyne, a ringer at St Stephens for mmany years who died on 21st Decemeber, 2024. First Call Change peal at first attempt: 6.

Rung half-muffled to commemorate the life of Sonia Bridgman, who died over Christmas at the age of 50 after a long and brave fight against cancer. She insisted that she didn’t want a funeral, her only request being that Pillaton bells be rung muffled to commemorate her passing. She had fond memories of them being rung open for the wedding to her husband Gary - the joyous beginning and sad ending of a loving partnership.

Priest in charge of St Goran and St Michael Caerhays,

Assistant Curate of Mevagissey, St Ewe, and St Mewan,

and Assistant Curate of St Austell.

Also present was Jake Williams. This Call Change peal was rung to celebrate the 52nd wedding Anniversary of ringers on no.1 bell. Christine & Bob rang Rounds & 52 call changes each as part of their celebration with the team. 1st occasion of ringing this composed peal by all ringers. Thank you, Owen.

Rang in celebration of the life of Rev. Dorothy Noakes (Bradford),who died on January 22nd, 2025.

Rev Dorothy had been a non stipendiary priest serving Helston, Wendron & the wider Lizard peninsula for 27 years only retiring in December, 2024. She had also been a School Teacher, the Chaplain of RNAS Culdrose, associated with the local Church M.U. Helston Air Cadets. Local scouts/ guides & the Bishop of Truro advisor for woman's ministry.

A much loved Helston lady who gave so nuch for others in her life.

Rung in memory of Chas Seamons (1936-2025) who sadly passed away in February, aged 88.Chas and his daughter Rachael first rang at Launcells in the 1980s whilst holidaying at Crackington Haven, returning here for several year, always receiving a warm welcome. HB

Rung half muffled prior and following the funeral and Service of Thanksgiving remembering the life of Monica Joy Trudgeon. Monica was devoted to St Michaels and a one time ringer.
