A 100th Birthday Compliment to Reg Barks (16th Sept) & 70th Birthday compliment to Glyn Barks (18th Sept), his Nephew

Rung to celebrate 30 years of ringing for Trevor and Jocelyne Lock. We were invited to learn to ring while tidying the churchyard for a flower festival to celebrate the centenary of the re-building of the church in 1887. I (Trevor was 11) and my mother (Jocelyne) joined to bolster the band. Little did we know we would still be ringing and enjoying it as much 30 years later. This is the largest number of changes Mervyn Lock, Trevor Stacey and Helen Turner-Murphy have rung.

Rung as a farewell to Jonathan, with congratulations on his first class degree and thanks for his loyal support for Keele ringing throughout his three years at Keele. This quarter was originally arranged for the day after Jonathan's graduation in July, but had to be postponed because he was ill.

Ioannis' mother, grandmother & several other relatives were present in church to witness the QP & provided the ringers with refreshments afterwards.
