Rounds: We Remember Them
A band of ringers in Cottered, Hertfordshire, re-formed as part of the Ringing Remembers initiative, with 6 learners from Cottered and nearby Stevenage (all under the excellent tutelage of Geoff Horritt) and 3 experienced ringers from the parish. At 10:30 am on Armistice Centenary we rang rounds on half-muffled bells for 20 minutes before the Remembrance Day Service, and after the service at 12:30 pm we rang open rounds in celebration of the peace and freedom we enjoy.
