Remembering Dr Griffith Pugh, physiologist and mountaineer, who's work was instrumental in the success of the 1953 Mount Everest expedition. His grave is in the churchyard here, and was visited by members of the band prior to the peal.

Rung in memory of Private Charles Golding, Leicestershire Regiment, who died on 23rd October 1918 while a prisoner of war near Charleville, France, and was a member of the local band at this tower. He is now buried at Terlincthun British Cemetery, Wimille, France.

Their name liveth for evermore.

For ringers 9 and 11, both Ringing Remembers recruits, this was their first ringing on a Sunday morning. Tracey Coley would also like to be associated with this event.

For the 100th anniversary of the WW1 Armistice in memory of Charles Herbert Lee, bell ringer killed in action 31.7.1917 and all from Redbourn that sacrificed their lives.

Son of Alfred Harrison Bradbeer Headmaster of Weston School.

Killed in action age 27 on 21st March 1918 at Maricourt and who is commemorated on the Arras Memorial together with 35,000 other casualties in the area who have no known grave.Great Uncle Frank to the ringer of the third.
