To mark the 50th anniversary of V.J. Day and of the celebratory peal rung in this tower on 15th August 1945 in the same method and composition, in which William J. Southam also rang the 4th.
This peal is now marked by a stained glass panel in the East window of the ringing chamber similar to one marking the one installed for the 1945 peal.
