A thanksgiving for the life of Thomas Abel Smith, who died at his home in Woodhall Park on 2nd January 1983. He was patron of the living of Watton-at-Stone and other neighbouring parishes, a respected leader in many aspects of our community life and contributed generously towards the installation of the present ring of 8 in this tower.
