Rung to mark the 50th anniversary of a silent and non-conducted peal of Stedman Cinques by the Guild in this tower on 5th December 1964, in which the ringers of 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 12 (all then undergraduates) took part. The ringers of 8 and 9 are current undergraduates. Also a compliment to Hadley and Norma Hunter on their 45th wedding anniversary this day.
