Rung to mark the centenary of the first peal rung for the Oxford Society by a lady, Kathleen Lock, in this tower on 28th December 1918.

Celebrating the centenary of Kathleen Lock becoming the first woman to ring a peal with the Society.

In fond memory of Christopher M P Johnson, by members of the Cambridge University Guild and the Oxford University Society. Chris was a member of both societies.

After a rather short peal attempt terminated by conductorial inadequacy.

Rung to mark the centenary of the first peal rung for the Oxford Society by a lady, Kathleen Lock, at St Helen's Abingdon on 28th December 1918. Kathleen (née Holifield) learnt to ring here, was the first lady to ring a peal here in 1915 and her ashes are buried here in the family grave.

A compliment from the Oxford Society to Terry Newport, Magdalen College Butler, on his retirement after 49 years at the college, and rung on the occasion of a dinner held at Magdalen in his honour. Terry has looked after the ringers with welcome refreshment after offical ringing for many years for which we are very grateful and wish him a long and happy retirement.
