Rung open, in celebration of his life, before the funeral of Terry Horton, ringing member of the Essex Association of Change Ringers, who died on 15 June 2019, aged 94. The band would like to associate M Guy Nelson with this performance.
Terry was born on 2nd January, 1925 and he learned to ring when was 14 years old, at North Weald, before the outbreak of World War II. He later rang at Boreham in the 1970s and he continued to ring into his 80s and enjoyed ringing at Great Holland with his daughter, Patricia (Paddy), who he also joined on various car and coach outings.

Doreen was taught to ring at Saint Leonard's and rang her first quarter peal here on the 18th March 1957 aged 11 years. She rang her first peal at Wormingford on the 26th August 1959 aged 14 years. Doreen was a member of the Saint Leonard's band of ringers from 1956 until 1977.
