Longest resident in the village and lived his full 89 years in the village, from running a small garage, to running Farrows engineering company with his brother Roy.
John, over the years, has done alot for Thorrington church and has seen alot of changes in his years in the village.
He will be dearly missed by all that knew him, a true gentleman and family man.
