The band would like to associate the peal with Steve Knight who rang in all the "practice" peals in August, also with Richard Lycett who rang the treble then.
Many thanks go to David Sheppard for ringing in the peal and also to Rowena Marshall for ringing the treble.

The quarter at Witham was rung with the band's best wishes for a speedy recovery to John Watson (one of the regular ringers) who recently underwent a heart triple-bypass operation.
Debbie Brown rang very well in her first quarter, which also marked the imminent enrolment of Mrs. Patricia Chapman in the Mother's Union. The quarter was also rung after the baptism of Joanna Sally Jay, witnessed by A. Wiseman (the tenor ringer).
