In memory of Pte William Baines Harris, 1/5th South Staffs regiment, killed in action on 13th October 1915 during the Battle of Loos. Pte Harris has no known grave and is commemorated on the Loos Memorial. His name is recorded on war memorials in Bilton and in his home town of Bridgnorth and on the Roll of Honour in the church of St Mary Magdalene, Quatford.
