This quarter was rung as a further tribute to Dad's Army after the All Saints Birchington ringers originally were inspired to name most of these variations on 18/2/24. The St Mary's and St Kyneburgha ringers sense we share a common bond in our Doubles escapades!
The venue was chosen as close as we could get to the fictional location for Dad's Army at Walmington on Sea.
Two new variations were rung and named for the first time:
- They don't like it up 'em - 112 c/f/h. (St Hilary with a Grandsire Single, a Wallflower Single and a Pinks Single)
- Stupid Boy - 110 c/f/h (Dragon Place with a Grandsire Single, a Wallflower Single and a Pinks Single)
