This was the 1st qp on the refurbished installation and the ringers included some of those who helped with the project. During the service which preceded the qp, the 'recast' Tenor bell was blessed by Archdeacon Mark Badger. This bell had been cast by Taylors of Loughborough and tuned and hung by Whites of Appleton and fitted with a wooden shafted clapper. They also replaced the gudgeons of the 4th and re-bushed the clappers of the front 5.

Dedicated to Stuart Piper, Tower Captain, unable to ring due to recovering in hospital following a car accident. We wish Stuart a quick recovery and our thoughts are with him and Nicky.
